About the Ulverston area

Ulverston is an old-fashioned market town with a cobblestone central street. It has several unique stores, cafes, and bars serving good ale and hearty food. From five-star restaurants to cosy neighbourhood pubs, there is truly something for every taste. During the summer, Ulverston hosts a variety of festivals, from a flag-raising and walking festival to an art and music festival, and in late November, the town hosts the world-famous Dickensian Christmas celebration.
