This delightful, family-friendly lodge is situated in the Limefitt Holiday Park in the Lake District National Park, near the town of Windermere, Cumbria. Surrounded by tremendous scenery, Fell View Lodge is well-presented and in a peaceful area of the holiday site, offering a private frontal decking space with a table and outdoor furniture, where you can throw open the patio doors to soak up the sun or watch the sunset with family.
Stepping into the entrance of the lodge, you will find a hallway where you can kick off your shoes and enter into a bright and spacious open-plan kitchen/dining/sitting room. This generously-sized area has two patio doors, allowing you to admire the superb surrounding mountain views whilst the indoors includes stylish dining seating for six, a warming electric coal-effect fire, a TV and ample seating, plus a wonderful kitchen with shaker style units, a double electric oven, gas hob, fridge freezer, dishwasher and a breakfast bar, perfect for adventurers on the go.
Following down the corridor is a contemporary family bathroom complete with a shower over bath, stylish wooden hand basin unit and a WC. The children will be able to enjoy the onsite playground and horse riding. The lodge provides two well-decorated twin rooms, both complete with a bedside table, hanging space and drawers for ample storage.
The quaint king-size bedroom includes bedside tables, built-in wardrobes, a chest of drawers and a contemporary en-suite with a corner power-shower, WC and stylish wooden hand basin unit. It is no wonder the Lake District is one of the most popular destinations for fun-filled family breaks; those yearning for adventure will be thrilled to find a wealth of leisure activities to try out, some of which including guided hill walks, cycling, climbing, canoeing, archery, kayaking, and team building.
The town of Windermere and its surrounding area offers tranquil gardens, shopping, a number of cinemas and a theatre, and fantastic family attractions, including Brockhole - The Lake District Visitor Centre which has an adventure playground for children and a café and Fell Foot Park, which offers rowing boat hires and fine areas ideal for picnics.
