The property is also based 8 miles from Penrith, making it the ideal base for exploration. On the ground floor, you will find three well-presented bedrooms, two doubles, one with en-suite shower room, and a bunk, the latter of which are served by a beautiful bathroom, where you can freshen up with a soak in the bath or under the overhead shower.

Head upstairs to find a light and airy open-plan living space, featuring exposed beams, where you will find a fully-equipped kitchen for rustling up your best dishes, ready to savour at the dining table for six as you toast to a memorable getaway, or alfresco out on the balcony with a view! After dinner, retire to the sumptuous seating in the sitting area, outside, or visit the facilities on-site in the bar, pool, or leisurely walks around the holiday village.

If you can tear yourself away, head to the nearby pub and restaurant and treat your loved ones to a meal at The Sportsman Inn, a short drive to Greystoke, Boot and Shoe or stock up on fresh produce at the Basecamp North Lakes Farmshop and Kitchen.
