In the other direction, Kirkby Lonsdale has numerous eating places and individual shops. Lake Windermere, Bowness-on-Windermere and Hawkshead are within easy reach. This attractive village and lovely Levens cottage make an inspiring choice from which to enjoy the whole of this magical area.
