This three bedroom modern cottage is situated on the popular Whitbarrow Holiday Park near Greystoke offering quality accommodation for families and friends, only a few minutes' drive from Ullswater. The accommodation is laid out in an upside down layout with the three comfortable bedrooms (one with en-suite) being located on the ground floor, along with the family bathroom.
Upstairs is the well-equipped kitchen with dining area and a sitting room with space for everyone to relax after a busy day of adventure. Situated in the foothills of Blencathra Fell, Whitbarow Village has plenty of entertainment for the whole family. Originally converted from an 18th century Cumbrian farm, the village offers guests a good range of facilities including use of a heated indoor swimming pool, children's splash pool, sauna and gym.
The village grounds are also home to a crazy golf course, putting green and giant outdoor draughts/ chessboard, as well as a children's adventure centre ensuring you'll have plenty to do whatever the weather. There's even a holistic therapy room if you need a little pampering. The park reception also provides DVD rental as well as an internet station.
If you can tear yourselves away the historic town of Penrith is a short drive away and even Lake Windermere is less than a half hour drive or pop dowmn to Ullswater one of the Lake District's most romantic lakes. Wonderful family accommodation in a location offering something for everyone.

This charming village has a number of 17th century cottages and is conveniently situated just 5 miles from Penrith. Set just on the outskirts of the Lake District National Park, only 5 miles from Ullswater and the numerous picturesque walks available make this a fabulous location for fans of the outdoors.
Nearby, the popular town of Keswick is the holiday centre of the north of the Lake District and has plenty to offer, boasting numerous shops and restaurants to suit all tastes, as well as offering the Theatre on the Lake, a charming cinema, and museum.
